We are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where students of all abilities and backgrounds feel supported and valued. Our expanding Additional Educational Needs (AEN) Department plays a key role in helping students who experience challenges to reach their full potential through targeted and responsive support.

Inclusion is central to our approach, and we strive to ensure that every student is fully involved in all aspects of school life. Our dedicated and experienced Special Education Teaching (SET) team works collaboratively with subject teachers and other staff to provide a coordinated, whole-school approach to student support, as well as targeted individual approaches where needed.

We also make effective use of resources such assistive technology, evidenced bases approaches, NEPS and specialist learning programmes to enhance learning, enabling students to access the curriculum in ways that suit their individual needs. In addition, we support students and their families through important application processes such as RACE (Reasonable Accommodations at Certificate Examinations) and DARE (Disability Access Route to Education), helping to ensure that students are given every opportunity to succeed both during and beyond their time in school.
