All Ireland Success

Outstanding gold medal performance by Ronan Ryan on Saturday in the All Ireland Schools Combined Evenits in Athlone. Ronan competed in the long jump, shot put, 60m hurdles, 200m and 800m. He accumulated points from each performance (winning the long jump, 60m hurdles and 200m) to win overall gold in the Senior Boys category. Huge congratulations Ronan.

1st Year Girls Soccer

Well done to our 1st year girls who took part in the Munster Schools 7 a side blitz in UL. Our goal scorers on the day were Cliodhna Maxwell and Emily Ryan. Player of day for St Joseph's College was Grace Tynan.

Minor Ladies Football

Well done to our Minor Ladies Footballers on a great win against The Ursuline Waterford, on Tuesday the 4th of Novemeber. The girls won on a score line of 3-8 to 2-5, with outstanding performances from Cliona Cahill, Sinead Cowan, Sinead O'Meara, Maria Groome and Ellie Ryan.

Under 17 Boys Soccer

Hard luck to our under-17 boys soccer team, who lost 3-2 to CTI Clonmel after extra time. It was a great performance from the lads who put in a huge effort throughout. Our goal scorers on the day were Mark Mulligan Hoare and Adam Whyte. Also, many thanks to Borrisoleigh FC for accommodating us with the use of their new home pitch.

1st Year Day Out

Our 1st years enjoyed a fun and exciting day out recently to get to know each other as a group and enjoy a day of sunshine with their fellow students and some of their teachers. The day started with a trip to The Rock of Cashel and was rounded off with a competitive game of foot golf!

Leaving Cert Results News

A huge congratulations to Class of 2025 student Sam Roche who achieved excellent results in his Leaving Cert, getting 625 points. Sam plans to study genetics at university, we wish him the best of luck in this next chapter. Well done Sam, all at St Joseph's College are very proud of you!
