All Ireland Champions

Congratulations to our Senior Hurlers who won the Michael Cusack Cup on Friday 20th of March. The defeated Coláiste Naomh Cormac of Offaly in Borrisokane GAA pitch. After a 10-point lead at half time the Offaly boys battled back to just a single score difference. However, the St. Joseph boys didn't panic and came out on top by 5 points to be crowned All Ireland Champions. Congratulations also to Mr. Michael Halpin and Mr. Willie Ryan whose hard work and dedication paid off. A great celebration was held in the school upon the champions return. Thank you to all local businesses and the communities of Borrisoleigh, Silvermines, Templederry and Toomevara for all your well wishes and donations in the lead up to the final.

U15.5 Camogie

Well done to our U15.5 camogie team on a great win over Greenhill Carrick-on-Suir on the 10th of March. Left to play in the group is St. Mary’s Nenagh, Presentation Secondary School Thurles, and the Ursuline Convent Thurles.

Minor LGFA

Hard luck to our Minor Ladies Footballers who were defeated by St. Ailbe's Tipperary Town in a regional semifinal. The weather was very poor on the day, and the girls fought back to being the game within a point of each other. Unfortunately, St. Ailbe's were too strong and went on to win the game. That brings an end to Minor Ladies Football for this year. Well done girls.
